Five Matias concessions, marked in black red, occur in the Guandacol District and total 41,995 hectares. This district is in the Province of La Rioja. Background is a satellite image; coordinates are Gauss Kruger (WGS84).

Five Matias concessions total 41,995 hectares in the Guandacol District, La Rioja. Uranium showings occur within sedimentary rocks in a variety of types. Plant trash in Carboniferous to Permian sandstones are replaced by uranium in the west-central corner of the concession block.

The Matias 5, and adjacent areas, have roll-front type showings, which are also in Carboniferous to Permian sandstones. Uranium-copper showings near the south-central part of the claims are in lenses associated with plant trash, and possibly evaporates, in Tertiary sedimentary rocks. Thus, this claim group represents a variety of types and ages of uranium prospects that have yet to be thoroughly explored.
